Then they proceeded to take off the door of the garage! Now usually they leave it open so we can wander between the main house and the feeding area (garage) at our leisure and whim. In fact I'd never really thought much about it before. It was only ever closed when they wanted to take their garbage out or some other strange thing that humans do when you can't see them.

I digress. They removed the door, and drilled and sawed a hole in it! Are they insane??? And the noise! Good Bastet in heaven, I had never heard such a racket! Well the damn fool humans then started putting some kind of clear plastic flap in it, and then put the door back up again, and then - you won't believe it - closed it! with us on the other side!

Then they started acting really strange. They took a can of that good fish, opened it, and put it on the other side of the door, so we could see it through the little window flap they had made, smell it , but NOT GET TO IT! I mean that's just torture! Delilah has been hammering on the window, and it seems to move somewhat. In fact she suspects she might even be able to sneak through it, although I doubt we'd ever see her again if she did!
