I need a new brain. This one seems to be developing defects...

Class starts at 1:00 pm, not 9:00 am. So I calmed down and apologized to the tech department, who are now working their preset schedule.

So, the weekend.

Friday night, we went out to dinner at Pasands, which was pretty good.

Saturday during the day we didn't do a whole lot as I recall. In the evening, I made a valiant attempt to burn down the temple room.

I placed a tea candle and sage in a small couldron with a piece of charcoal, and it burned nicely. Unfortunately, the legs came off of the couldron because it was a cheapo brass thing I'd bought froma garage sale. With a little bit of effort, I was then able to distribute burning charcoal quite liberally all over the carpet, whilst setting light to the ritual papers and melting the tablecloth. All in all, not a particularly successful start to Ostara.

Aftewards, JS (my niece) and I sat outside and chatted about Life the Universe and everything until R. came home after her ritual.

Sunday was spent doing a lot of family research. We had always been told we were descended from Sir Francis Bacon. However, since it turned out that he never had any kids (on account of his interest in young welsh soldiers), that was clearly bogus. It then transpired that the confusion lay with St. Albans. Bacon was the Viscount St. Albans, we were descended from the Duke of St. Albans (via an illegitimate line). Or so our mom claims.

That is what we have been researching, starting with the present generation and working back. So far we have got to about 1850, which still leaves us potentially 200 years to go to prove or disprove the legend.

We'll see.

Alright, that's it for now, have a great Monday!
