Latest Older I am Spartacus 2005-02-26 - 8:36 p.m. I went to Fry's Electronics today, to price out a barebones system and CPU. They didn't have much for the money I wanted to spend. Then I saw a 'Lindows' system. Lindows is a Linux GUI. Kind of a poor mans replacement for windows, but it runs on the same chipset. 2.2Ghz AMD processor for 200 bucks. Hmmmm. My old system was 898 Mhz on a good day. I bought it. Got it home, swapped out the hard drive with my old windows one, added a DVD-R drive from my old system and the Diamond Stealth video card. Now I gots me a new faster system. For $200. Booya...
