I thought you should be made aware of this, since there are so many people potentially affected by it.

Bank of America is currently experiencing a system problem, at least in Texas and possibly nationwide.

Personal and Business accounts are not being updated to reflect transactions that have already been posted.

Consequently, you cannot reconcile your available balance to the posted transactions balance.

Be careful making any financial decisions based on what your online balance shows!

Bank of America employees advised me this morning (3/28/2006) that they are aware of the problem and are working to resolve it.
