Holy shit is that the Eon? I'd better get cracking!Holy shit is that the Eon? I'd better get cracking!

As tax time approaches, people in the US inevitably wait until the last minute to file.

I remember in the UK at Christmas, stores were packed on Christmas Eve, with people desperately trying to get all their shopping done in half a day.

The wars we fight are usually fought because a problem was left unchecked for so long that war became the only option remaining.

Governments plan 10-30 years ahead at best, if at all.

We are still incredibly dependent on oil, despite the rapidly dwindling reserves, which are slated to be exhausted around 2060.

Rain forest depletion will reach The omega point (from which there is no recovery) around 2014. Not a whole lot of global action to prevent that.

What I am getting at is, it is human nature to wait until the last minute. Keep that thought in mind, this is going to get wierder.

Let's say we are born here to face challenges and improve our spiritual, higher self. What we don't achieve in this lifetime, we can perfect in the next one, or the one after that.

In the 20 odd years I have been 'into' this stuff, I have talked to a lot of people about their past lives, and there is a pattern. It seems that on average, people have 'come back' more times in the past 100-200 years than in the entire span of human history put together. In other words, their reincarnations have accelerated over the last 200 odd years.

There are about 6.2 billion people on the planet now. In 1950, it was half that number. In 1900, it was half that number.

It seems that the part of us that wants to leave things to the last minute is from our spiritual side, which you wouldn't expect, but then it appears to be this way since you don't see animals doing that - they plan and gather their nuts in May etc., with a very profound sense of forward planning.

So what is going on at a spritual level? Given the rise in population growth, and the frequent reincarnations over the past century, could it be that the entire higher self of the human race is (spiritually speaking) cramming for the 'final exam' at the last minute?

Interesting thought, perhaps...
