We went over to B's house yesterday. B is J's buddy. Or at least he was until J. slept over one night and stole his knife.

We spent an hour there, with both sets of parents basically saying what they thought the kids would be saying if they didn't sit there saying squat.

J. stole the knife. He claims that B. said he could have it, because he asked him as he was drifting off to sleep and he got a response that resembled 'yeah'. So J. got the knife out of B's drawer and didn't mention it again.

What a crock of shit.

In the past 12 months he has stolen from:

  • His dad ($60)
  • His mom (clothes, cigarettes, makeup)
  • Me (Knife, lighters, cigarettes)
  • The niece JS (clothes, and I suspect $30)
  • His friend B. (Knife)

    That's just the stuff we know about. He has a psych appointment this week, and tobacco awareness classes also. R. and B's mom are going back to the school to see if they can get the knife back, and J. has two days left on his in school suspension.

    Fun stuff.

    I'm working from home today. I have a whole bunch of documentation to do this week, so its time to make a start on it. Have a spiffing Monday!
