It's been somewhat busy, to say the least.

We went out to the lake on Memorial Day, and that was actually a lot of fun, although we weren't sure it would be when we first got there - not many people showed up.

I went kayaking and took R. out for a spin in a paddle boat. Lots of food and my tooth didn't play up once.

On the way back we saw lightning off in the distance that was constant and impressive, kind of like a bad disaster movie.

Speaking of which, we saw 'The Day After Tomorrow' on Sunday, which we really enjoyed. Yes, I know that the events it describes represent a seriously compressed time span, and that it is unlikely that those events would happen in such short order, but it was cool nevertheless.

Yesterday at work was busy as all get out, and today looks like it will be too. Apparently the new A/c unit we got for the computer room blew off the roof last night, which means the room is 92 degrees and sunny this morning...

Systems are going up and down like a whore's drawers...

Last night we watched the clouds roll in, with lots of cloud to cloud lightning again. I was expecting to here some movie string music playing meaningfully in the back ground to match the show. It was very CE3 (Who remembers what that means? :>)

Our power flickered, died, came back, flickered, flickered again then died, then came back after about half an hour.

Apparently we were quite lucky. A tornado touched down 8 miles WNW of us, so they say...
