Here are the main points. J. has been working for his grandfather during the summer.

His grandfather has had him working with 'Kenny' (we'll call him) doing bricklaying jobs etc.

J. has enjoyed doing this.

Tuesday their car broke down apparently, and they didn't get home 'til late.

Grandfather didn't believe Kenny, and threw him out. Literally. He slept in the gutter outside the house that night. A policeman came and gave him a lift the following day. I thought this was a little harsh (because he also cuts my damn lawn, so now what do I do), but grandfather insisted that the story was bullshit and Kenny had gone back to his old druggie ways.

Last night, J. left a back of Marijuana in his bathroom. Which Kenny apparently gave to him.
