This is how you win a mid-term election if you lose one. First the elections become controversial, leading to riots in the streets, then the President declares martial law to keep the peace. And since we already lost habeus corpus, now people can start disappearing. Probably starting with me :>

Well I guess if the US can't bring democracy to Iraq, then the alternative is to bring Iraq to the US.
