After President Bush got his ass handed to him lost control of Congress on Tuesday, I began wondering what he would say about the State of the Union in January.
For as long as I remember, the President (whoever it happened to be) has said 'The State of the Union is Strong' which seems to me invalidates the whole speech, when it has been clearly obvious at times that the State of the Union is about as strong as a wet paper bag.
Thinking of options for things he could say, I looked up 'The State of the Union' on Googlism.com, and here are some of the ones I got back:
