Two can be as bad as one.Two can be as bad as one.

Continuing the Numbers thing, we already talked about Number 1. Here is Number 2:

In the flash of consciousness when the Godhead first said 'I am', in that moment came the desire to experience itself from an external view, and so
the consciousness split in two.

Now the Godhead could say 'I am', and 'You are'. On the Tree of Life, this is Chockmah, the second sephira (sphere, or aspect of deity). Chockmah is Wisdom, and the primal positive force.

It is the second letter of the Hebrew Alphabet - Beth, and it can be divided
into any even number.

Two also represents polarity. In the Qabbalah, this polarity does not come
into play until the 3rd Sephirah is defined, so we will address some of this issue here and the rest with number three.

Polarity: Light and Dark; Good and Evil; Positive and Negative; Masculine
and Feminine; Form and Force.

It is important to understand that our entire existence depends on Polarity.
Energy is an attempt in nature to correct a difference between two states - the polarities.

Prior to the flash of consciousness that split the Godhead, there was a
stable system. Perfection. Completely ordered - 100% Potential Energy. Now
the 2nd law of Thermodynamics states that entropy always increases. Or to
put it another way, events that results in a net increase in disorder will occur spontaneously.

This is what led to the flash of consciousness, the split, and the resultant 'difference' of 'I am' and 'You are'. When all energy has been converted back to potential energy again, we have that short yet infinite moment of perfection before the whole thing starts up again. It takes an incredibly long time to convert all energy back to potential energy, so we have a ways to go yet :>

Continuing with 2, in astrology, it represents Taurus, the Bull, the second
sign of the Zodiac, and the first Kerubic Sign. The Kerubic Signs are those that equate to the Cardinal points. They are Taurus the Bull, Leo the Lion, Scorpio (in it's Eagle form) and Aquarius, the human. By the way, the first recorded reference to this is in Ezekiel in the old testament, but the concept is believed to have originally come from Egypt via the Babylonians, or perhaps even earlier than that.

When meditating, think of a line connecting two points. It has no depth, nor mass, only length. It represents the first 'move' in creation. The first difference, like the minus sign.

In Numerology, Two represents Harmony and compromise. It is the peacemakers
and mediators.

Again, two follows the principle "as Above, So Below". Just as Deity desires
to experience existence, so do we all. This is the principle that makes us
explorers. Finding that which is different. Different than our cave,
different than the land around it, different than our planet. This is why we reach for the stars. The desire to explore, experience and understand that which is different from ourselves.

And that's Number 2.
